Complete 2-Storey Home Renovation in Scarborough

Duration: 6-8 Weeks

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Work Completed: Full 2-storey home remodel, 3D design rendering, open-concept kitchen transformation, custom two-tone cabinetry, multiple bathroom complete remodels, freestanding tub installation, staircase modernization with wainscoting, and custom mudroom/laundry build-out.

After consulting with nearly a dozen companies, these Scarborough homeowners chose Kitchen & Bath Reno for a massive two-storey renovation. The project completely transformed the home’s original dated features, such as basic square floor tiles, heavy dark wood staircases, and old carpeting.

We replaced the cramped original kitchen layout with an expansive, open-concept design. The new space features a stunning two-tone aesthetic, pairing crisp white perimeter cabinetry with a massive, dark navy island. We installed white quartz countertops, a beautifully patterned tile backsplash, and sleek matte black hardware. If you are considering custom kitchen renovations, this project showcases how custom cabinetry and layout changes dramatically elevate a home.

The original bathrooms felt stuck in the past, featuring basic white vanities, old tile, and an outdated corner tub. We modernized these spaces completely, delivering luxury bathroom renovations that include a freestanding soaking tub set on gorgeous patterned floor tiles. The ensuite now boasts a custom dark double vanity and a large walk-in glass shower with marble-style tiles. The main powder room was also updated with a dark vanity, modern arched mirror, and contemporary lighting.

To tie the entire home together, we updated the entryway staircase with light wood treads, elegant wainscoting, and a new wrought-iron railing. We also built out a highly functional custom laundry room and mudroom featuring built-in white cabinetry, a bench, and a patterned tile backsplash. From the initial gutting and framing to the final finishes, this Scarborough project perfectly demonstrates our team’s end-to-end expertise in whole home renovations.
